COMMUNITY SUPPORT SOLUTIONS
The Tsebo Outsourcing Group has as internal programme in which members of staff from different regions are taken for training to be HIV/AIDS trainers.
The trained staff then train their colleagues and become peer educators. The Group has their own internal adviser and he plays an important role in ensuring that the staff are always informed about health issues.
The sports day was started as a way of allowing the staff to interact outside the working environment, although it did take place within the workplace.
The management drew up fixtures for the day, during which different departments would compete with each other for a trophy. This allowed the staff to have a braai to which they were encouraged to bring their families. This sports day helped to create a festive mood for everyone on site.
